Location & Parking

Imua is located at Northstar Beach next to the Newport Aquatic Center (NAC). Look for the orange and blue canoes on the right side of the beach. Parking for Imua practice/events is located at West Cliff Park. NO PARKING INSIDE the NAC GATE for Imua practices further notice even for NAC members. This includes the dirt lot and curbside.

On Season Schedule:

Women's Practice: Monday and Wednesday on the beach by 5:30 PM and in the water by 6:00 PM

Men's Practice: Tuesday and Thursday on the beach by 5:30 PM and in the water by 6:00 PM

Saturday Practice: For April, Men on the beach by 7:30 AM; Women on the beach by 10:00 AM. This will reverse in May

Novice: Starting Sundays n April, Men on the beach at 7:30 AM; Women on the beach at 10:00 AM

Keikis: Starting May 16, Sunday, from 9am - 11am and Thursdays starting May 13, from 4pm - 5:30pm

Practice calendar for 2010

What to wear:  Workout clothing that can get wet (rash guard, t-shirt or wicking shirt; board shorts or workout pants; flip flops or water shoes)
What to bring: Water, Sunglasses
Where: North Star Beach in Newport Beach next to Newport Aquatic Center. Imua canoes are on the right side of the beach.
